At the end of this class you will have the opportunity to be assessed for The Kennel Club Good Citizen Scheme Gold Award and if successful you will receive a certificate from The Kennel Club.
Advanced class is for dogs that have attended the intermediate class and it covers the exercises in the Kennel Club Good Citizen Scheme Gold award :-
Return to handler’s side
Walk free beside handler
Stay down in one place for two minutes both in and out of sight of the handler
Send the dog to bed
Stop the dog in an emergency
Relaxed isolation
Food manners
Examination of the dog by a person unknown to the dog
Road walk
Sometimes this class may be amalgamated with the silver class as typically fewer dogs train for silver and gold than for bronze.
