On successful completion of this course you will recieve a certificate, rosette and puppy training diary from the Kennel Club.
Puppy classes are for puppies from 2nd vaccination – 12 months old depending on breed. They cover the exercises in the Kennel Club Puppy Foundation and include :-
Attentive response to name
Play with the puppy
Socialization with a person and dog unknown to the puppy
Handling and grooming
Puppy recall
Basic sit, stand and down
Walking in a controlled manner alone and around other puppies
Stay for approx 10 seconds
Take article away from puppy
Food manners
Control at a doorway
Advice will be given on toilet training, recall training when outside, retrieve, jumping up on people, puppy biting etc
